So my research paper is due tmro and i just finished everything. The thing i hate is how my mom always checks my papers more then i do. I think she cares about my school work more me. This started back in 1st grade when little Jacob started school. The first coupe of years of my school i didnt mind my mother helping me with homework and checking it to make sure i knew what is was doing. But by like 4th grade is when is started getting really annoying. I would never want her to help me but i had to deal with it. By 5th grade i thought it would be over but i was wrong. But thankfully that was the last year of this. So starting out in 6th grade she finally didnt check all my homework. But every now and then she will check my writings. It is funny to watch my little sister have to go through the same thing. She is in 5th grade and she gets so frustrated just like i did. But what makes it really funny is i just sit there and watch it happen. But next year she shouldn't do it anymore. Now here are some quotes from moms that show that they only mean the best for their kids:
A mother is a person who seeing there are only four pieces of pie for five people, promptly announces she never did care for pie. ~Tenneva Jordan
Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs in my field, since the payment is pure love. ~Mildred B. Vermont
"A mother's love for her child is like nothing else in the world. It knows no law, no pity, it dares all things and crushes down remorselessly all that stands in its path."
-- Agatha Christie
So when a mom helps you all they are trying to do is help you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Today i have no clue what to write about because we have been doing the same thing in English for the past week. All we have been doing is our research paper. It is kinda boring to write but its okay. I would rather write then read a book i think though. Im kinda better at writing then i am reading. I dont know why i just think reading is really boring and not fun. But writing is more fun then reading a book. When you are writing something you can say whatever you are feeling or whatever you are thinking about. Writing is just more fun then reading. But know i dont know what to talk about so im going to go back to the first week of school when we learned about having to write blogs every week. At first i thought it was kinda dumb and i would never know what to write about. But the first nine weeks is almost over and it seems like i have hardly written many blogs. It really isnt has hard as it seems. I thought i would never know what to talk about but so far until this week i have and i guess i am finding stuff to talk about this week too. I have learned if you just do stuff and not complain that is a lot easier and goes by faster. It is always good not to complain anyways because other people just get annoyed with you and then you dont have any friends. So it is just better to embrace stuff and do them with a smile on your face. So just do the work you have to do and everything is fine

Research paper
So we are doing a research paper in English class now. I am doing my paper on Dr. Jack Kevorkian. This is a pretty interesting trial because he was found guilty of helping people commit suicide. It is said he helped approximately 130 sick people with suicide from 1990 to 1999. He believed that people should have the choice to do this if they really wanted to. But other people believe it is wrong even if they want it. I personally think it is okay as long as the person wants it and the person does it his self with the doctor there supervising the person. But he was found guilty of second degree murder. This case was a turning point is assisted suicides. After this they ruled that assisted suicide is not okay and is illegal. Some people like Dr. Kevorkian thinks it is fine but other people think it is completely wrong. Well after i am done with this blog i guess i will have to do my works cited page for this research paper. I really had doing homework. It is not fun at all. I also have to get some more cards for this paper. Sometimes i think getting the information is harder then actually writing the paper. Once you have the information all you need to do is put it together which is easier then finding it i think. Well that's all i got for this week. See you next time when i have to do my blog again.

To kill a mockingbird
So this week in English we watched the movie to kill a mockingbird. The movie was in black and white and dill was the most ugliest kid ever. He was so ugly i could not even get myself to watch the movie but instead i had to laugh at him. But overall the movie was pretty good. When we saw boo at the end of the movie he looked almost exactly what i thought he would look like. Atticus was an amazing man. i really liked his voice in the movie. He is the true example of a true gentleman. I hope i am like him when i get older. When Mr. Ewell spit in his face it was amazing how he didn't respond. that has to take some much to not hit someone. I know for me it would be kinda hard for me but I'm sure i could do it. Jen was pretty much what i thought he would be like. Scoot was a little different then what i thought she would look like from reading the book. I think that i liked the movie more then the book because in the movie you can see the action but in the the book i like how you have to think of the stuff yourself. I always love reading the book then seeing the movie because i like seeing how my interpretation of the characters are different or same from the people who made the movie. For the most part my interpretation was almost the same but kinda different. I wish the movie was in color though because then you can kind get more of what the people look like. You couldn't tell what colors they were wearing and what color their hair is and stuff like that.Well that's all i have for this week.

To Kill a Mockingbird
So I am almost done with the book and it was a lot better then what i though. The end of the book had the most crazy ending. To start it seemed like Tom Robinson would have been found not guilty, but of course he was. I just don't understand why white people lived like that in those days. It just makes no sense to me at all. I could not see myself treating another race like people did with black people back then. Well that is just what they did i guess. We cannot change it now. Well back to the book. So Tom tries to then get out of prison, but he fails. So now Tom is dead because he got shot like 15 times. I think that is crazy that just because he was a black man that they made sure he was dead when they shot him. The reason Tom tried to escape was because he was tired of taking the white mans chances, so he took his own chance and did not succeed. So Jem and Scoot then go to the Halloween party that is at the school. The problem is they have to walk alone to the school. Well on the way there a boy named Cecil Jacobs scares them, but they make it to the school with only a little scare. But on the way home Jem hears someone behind the, but he just thinks it is Cecil again. The two kids just go on there way. But then someone grabs Scoot and tries to stab her and Jem gets his arm broken. Well someone comes and saves then. Mr. Heck Tate then comes over to their house. They find out the man who tried to hurt Jem and Scoot was Mr. Bob Ewell. He was killed with a knife. And they also find out that the man who saved the kids was Boo Radley. The real story is that Boo heard the kids and he grabbed a knife from his house and stabbed Mr. Ewell. The story they use is the Mr. Ewell fell on his knife. Mr. Heck Tate uses this story because he knows that Boo would not want to go to court and stand in front of a court room because he has been locked in his house for 30 years. Well i guess i will have to read the rest of the book today at some point. I wonder what will happen in the end?
