Reading Isn't Fun
So in English class we are reading To Kill a Mockingbird. So far it is not the most interesting book to read. And to make it even worse I really hate reading. So that makes the book even worse. Mr. Potter said to give it a chance and I'm trying to give the book a chance. I guess the book isn't that bad. It could be worse I guess. I am just glad we do not have to read the whole thing by ourselves. That would just be bad. The last tome I read a book from cover to cover was in 8th grade I think. The book was called Tuesdays With Morrie. The only reason I read it was because we had to. Once I got reading it the book wasn't that bad. It thought me some lessons in life. And the fact this actually happened make the book a little better. If you are wondering what the book is about well I will tell you. The book is about a guy named Morrie of course. Morrie finds out he has ALS which is a disease that just shuts down your body at a slow rate. First it starts in your legs and arms and then just goes to everything else from there until it gets to your lungs and you suffocate and die. So Morrie decides he wont let this hold him back. This guy ends up finding him and ends up being like his best friend in Morrie's last months. Morrie teaches this guy all the lessons he had learned in his life. Morrie changes this guys life. I really liked this book and it was probably the best book I have read. So I'm going to give To Kill a Mockingbird another chance and maybe I will end up liking it.

Jacob, is it getting any better? The trial part of the book was always my favorite. I hope it is getting better. The end is great!
